Privacy Policy

How we collect and use information when you visit our website, register or learn with us.

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Dr. SKILL, an initiative of Civils Web Private Limited, processes personal information in connection with its website, courses, webinars and learner support. This policy explains the information involved, why it is used and how to contact us about your privacy.

Information we collect

Information you provide may include your name, email address, mobile number, registration details and messages sent to support. We also process account and authentication information, course enrollments, learning activity and payment references or transaction status needed to provide your purchases.

When you use the website, cookies, local storage and integrated services may process browser and device information, IP addresses, pages visited and interactions. During live sessions, audio, video, display names and messages that you choose to share are processed to enable participation and may be visible to other participants.

How information is used

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, register participants, verify enrollments and payments, deliver courses and live sessions, respond to requests and communicate service updates. Information is also used to troubleshoot problems, protect against misuse, measure website and campaign performance and meet applicable legal obligations.

Where consent is required for a particular use, it must be obtained in accordance with applicable law. You can contact us to withdraw consent or request that promotional communications stop; necessary account and service communications may still be sent.

Cookies, local storage and advertising

The website uses an authentication cookie to maintain sign-in and local storage to remember your theme preference. It also integrates Google Ads and Snap Pixel to measure visits and advertising conversions. Following webinar registration, the site sends the email address and mobile number entered in the form to Snap for conversion measurement and matching.

You can manage cookies through your browser and advertising preferences through the relevant provider. Blocking cookies may affect sign-in or other features. Browser cookie controls do not necessarily stop all information sent through advertising integrations. For questions or requests about this processing, contact us using the details below.

Sharing and third-party services

Information is shared as needed with services supporting authentication, hosting, course delivery, communications, live sessions, payment processing and advertising measurement. These include Agora for live-session functionality and Google and Snap for the advertising features described above. Checkout may take place on the affiliated Dr. UPSC website, with account information passed to support the purchase process.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. Third-party websites and providers have their own privacy terms; review these when using their services. Providers may process information outside your country, subject to applicable requirements.

Retention and security

Personal information is retained for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining transaction records, resolving disputes and meeting legal requirements. The applicable retention period depends on the information and the purpose for which it is held.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your account credentials private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Never send passwords, OTPs or complete card details in a support request.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may contact us to request access to or correction of your personal information, request deletion, withdraw consent or raise a privacy complaint. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law; some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or resolving disputes. Withdrawing information necessary to deliver a service may affect your ability to use it.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Please initially provide only your registered contact details and a description of the request.

Children’s privacy

If you are under 18, involve a parent or legal guardian before registering or sharing personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information without appropriate authorization can contact us to request a review and, where applicable, deletion.
